Jason Hurley
President

Jason Hurley is the President of the WNY Democrats for Progress. Jason comes to the presidency after serving 8 years as a Zone Chair for Democratic Committeepersons in the Delaware District of Buffalo, one of the most active political districts in WNY. Jason has worked on campaigns as varied as school board to the presdiency and everything in-between. An expert on get out the vote techniques, Hurley is known for employing modern skills with the old shoe-leather tried and true methods of the past to achieve success for the camapigns he runs.

Tess Morrissey:
Vice President

A veteran of many local, state and national campaigns, Tess Morrisey has been a fixture in New York democratic circles for more than a decade. Tess previously worked on the campaigns of Andrew Cuomo for Governor and Robert Duffy and Kathy Hochul for Lieutentant Governor, and served in the Cuomo Administration under LG Duffy and Governor Cuomo. Educated in all aspects of campaigning, Tess Morrissey is known for her ability to hold successful events, especially on short notice.

Jim Simonis
Secretary

Jim Simonis is the Secretary of the Western New York Democrats for Progress. Jim has worked on many local, state and federal campaigns in various capacities, including most recently the effort in the 27th congressional district of New York. Jim is a Democratic Committeeman for the Town of Clarence. An expert researcher, Jim is the former Director of the Library at Le Moyne College in Syracuse.

Gary Gorski
Treasurer

Gary Gorski is the Treasurer of the Western New York Democrats for Progress. Gary is a veteran of many races, including having run for councilmember in the town of Marilla. Many campaigns have relied on the computer programming skills of Gary Gorski to lead them to victory. In addition to his political work, Gary also happens to be a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame as a member of Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields.
